A Keighley GP surgery has a new man in charge of its operational, financial and patient services management.
Nick Giles has been appointed area operations manager for One Medicare, which specialises in the delivery of patient and GP-led primary healthcare services.
One of the four Yorkshire sites he has responsibility for is North Street Surgery, in Keighley. He has more than 20 years’ experience in food retail and management consultancy. He joined the healthcare sector in 2007 when he began running a large NHS general practice in York.
He said: “I feel I can bring my years of senior management experience to help with the next stage of One Medicare’s development. I’m excited about working with the team here to continue to develop the services we offer.”
Rachel Beverley-Stevenson, chief executive of the business, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick to the team.”
