Youngster Ellie Leeming received an early Christmas present after her sheep produced three lambs – aptly named Holly, Star and Frank – just before the festive season
A trio of Charollais lambs have been born at a Cononley farm, three months ahead of normal lambing season.
The new arrivals were born just before Christmas to a ewe purchased at Skipton Auction Mart by 17-year-old Daniel Leeming, a member of Lothersdale Young Farmers.
l Lothersdale Young Farmers will mark their 80th anniversary with a dinner dance at Rolls Royce Social Club in Barnoldswick on January 19.
It is one of the oldest clubs in Yorkshire, and it is hoped past and present members will celebrate its success. Tickets are £20. Contact Jess Hall on 07811 123285 for further information.
