Charity donations among Silsden burglary haul

An antique clock, silver ornaments and hundreds of pounds in charity donations were stolen from a Silsden house.

Burglars are believed to have broken into a safe to take some of the items.

Anyone who has since been approached and offered the distinctive goods for sale has been asked to come forward.

The burglary occurred between 5pm on Sunday and 5pm on Monday at Dradishaw Road.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “An antique clock was removed from the property, as well as a number of silver ornaments and two charity bags filled with about £200 worth of donations.”
