Keighley endometriosis support group has given mums hope
9:00am Wednesday 13th March 2013 in News
A Keighley woman has successfully relaunched her support group for sufferers of the gynaecological condition endometriosis.
Michelle Middleton has been contacted by several local women after the Keighley News told how she had reactivated the group.
The organisation offers mutual support, informal discussions and professional speakers, as well as advice and support via e-mail, phone and face-to-face meetings.
Michelle said: “I have had several new enquiries and have been able to help and support more local women.
“Most of my support and campaigning is online or by phone. My new website has had 30,000 hits, and I receive e-mails daily from women reaching out for support and advice.
This week (March 4 to 11) is Global Endometriosis Awareness Week.
Michelle plans to hold the Keighley group’s next meeting in April.
