Saturday: Breakfast with God for four to 11-year-olds and families at St Mary’s Church, 9.30am-10.30am, followed by craft activities, songs, games and prayers for the children.

Sunday: This is the first Sunday after Trinity. There will be a “Book of Common Prayer” service of Holy Communion at St Mary’s at 8.30am and a service of Parish Communion at 10am as the Reverend Nigel Wright will be licensed as priest in charge of the Parish of Oxenhope by the archdeacon of Craven, the Venerable Paul Slater.

Monday: Service of ecumenical contemplative prayer at the Methodist Church, West Drive, 8pm.

Tuesday: Morning Prayer (Book of Common Prayer), St Mary’s, 9am.

Wednesday: Bell ringing practice in St Mary’s, 7.30pm.

The Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association’s next meeting is on Thursday June 6. Chris Mitchell will deliver a talk on behalf of Kisiizi Crafts, which supports orphans and training nurses in Uganda. Bags will be for sale. Admission for visitors is £3 including the cost of refreshments. 7.30pm at the community centre.
