Sutton WI welcomed Anne Thompson, who gave an illustrated talk on Florence Nightingale. The next meeting is on June 10 at 7.15pm in the community centre. Visitors and new members are all welcome.
Coffee morning at the community centre on Saturday 10am to 11.30am. This is in aid of the Mothers Union. Coffee will cost £1, and there will be a book stall, raffle and cake sale.
Also on Saturday, Sutton Ramblers meet at 9am in Church Road for a walk to Wray. For details, contact 01535 637055.
