The morning service of Holy Communion at Long Lee Methodist Chapel on Sunday was led by the Reverend Nevill Richardson. As it was Trinity Sunday, this was the theme for the service and was reflected in the choice of hymns, Bible readings (by Adrian Moore) and prayers. In his sermon the minister, spoke about The Trinity and how to understand it, we had to go back to the beginning of time and try to understand how things have evolved since then.

The Reverend Jonathan Pritchard was the celebrant at the sung Parish Communion at St Barnabas Parish Church on Trinity Sunday. Readers were Margaret Anstey, Carl Pybus and Jill Dodsworth who also administered the chalice. Rod Ticker preached on how the teaching of the Trinity helped us to understand the power and stability of God. Intercessions were led by Billy Clayton and organist was Edna Huggett. Helen Salt and her helpers led the Fun Church and developed their theme in readings, songs and various activities. Music on keyboard was provided by Jill Dodsworth.
