Keighley youngsters taking part in an enterprise competition will today, Thursday, put the finishing touches to furniture they designed themselves.
Three teams of teenagers will tomorrow present their completed products to a panel of local business people in the spirit of TV’s Dragons’ Den.
The nine 14 to 18-year-olds have spent a week working on every aspect of the furniture’s creation, from design and manufacture to marketing. The contest, at the Airedale Fab Lab fabrication facility, aims to interest young people in careers in engineering or design.
