Spectacle collection box – Following the closure of the Oxenhope Post Office and the recent opening of the new Oxenhope Pharmacy, the Rotary Club of Haworth & Worth Valley have agreed with the pharmacy to site a Vision Aid Overseas collection box for used spectacles in their shop at 36 Station Road. Vision Aid Overseas is a charity that sets up dispensaries, training services and screens patients in some of the of the poorest communities in Africa and India, all with the intention of providing spectacles to those with deficient sight problems. To give someone their sight back is a truly wonderful gift.
