Beer festival at Sandbeds, Keighley, is a heady success
An inaugural beer festival was a heady success.
Around 700 people attended the three-day event, organised by Oxenhope’s Bridgehouse Brewery.
More than 50 ales, from as far afield as Orkney and Cornwall, were on offer.
And there was a strong line-up of local tipples.
The weekend event – labelled the Airedale Beer Festival – was held in the grounds of the Airedale Heifer at Sandbeds, a pub managed by Bridgehouse Brewery.
Simon Lamb, the brewery’s head of sales and marketing, said: “It was a really good weekend and we received some excellent feedback.
“With it being the first one we weren’t really sure how it would go, but we were very encouraged by the response and we hope it will become an annual event."
The festival also featured live music, provided by local artists and bands, along with food and children’s entertainment.
