Sunday: Keighley New Church, Braithwaite, service, 10.30am, led by Gwendolen Rowe. Tea and coffee will be served after the service in the church hall. There is also home-made produce on sale after the service.
Tuesday: An gentle exercise class to music for the over 60s and/or less mobile is now running at Laycock Village Hall from 1.45-2.45pm, ring Kath on (01535) 959019 or 07950 005080.
Yoga classes are held in the Village Hall from 11am-12.30pm. Suitable for people of all abilities, contact Barbara on 665910.
Braithwaite Village Crafters meet on the first and third Tuesday of every month in Keighley New Church hall from 10am-noon. Members meet to share their hobby and, perhaps, learn new crafts, £2.50 for admission.
Wednesday: On the first Wednesday of every month there is a Coffee Club at Laycock Village Hall with a book exchange from 10am-noon, with free-range eggs for sale, contact Irene on (01535) 662083.
Your Police Community Support Officers are holding a contact point for residents of Braithwaite, Guardhouse and Laycock at the Keith Thompson Centre. This takes place on Saturday mornings from 10-11am. Your input is very much appreciated. All conversations are conducted in privacy on a one-to-one basis.
