Wilsden Gardening Association has a lawn rake available for hire free of charge. Please call at the WGA hut, Sundays between 10am and noon. There are two free compost tubs to anyone interested, together with three potted begrenia plants (saxiphrage) which have been donated, first come first served, please help yourself. You will find the items at the side of the WGA hut at the side of St Saviour’s Church, Wilsden.
A public consultation has been arranged by Commercial Estates Group in partnership with Barratt David Wilson Homes tomorrow from 4.30pm to 7.30pm at Cullingworth Village Hall to display revised plans to develop the Manywells Industrial Estate. Leaflets have been delivered to residents and are also available at The Paper Shop, Halifax Road.
Cullingworth Supper Club meets tonight, 7.30pm, Methodist Church when Pat Asquith and Hilary Greaves will give a talk on “Russia, a country of contrasts”.

Cullingworth Methodist Church is hosting a fashion show by Complete Clothing Company on Thursday, September 26 at 7pm, admission £2 including refreshments, by ticket or pay on the door.
There have been a number of thefts in the area of bicycles and the police have advised to keep bikes in a locked shed, or if left outside, out of view and secured to an immovable object with both wheels locked. The police also recommend making a note of the serial number, make and model to assist identifying a stolen bike.
