Keighley cheerleader Sian jumping for joy

A Keighley teenager has become the youngest member of the Rugby League World Cup cheerleading squad.
Sian Reid, 14, will travel the UK performing for World Cup qualifying matches with the Elite Cheer Team.
The Holy Family School student will cheer players from the England team as they play international opponents.
Sian was one of nine members of the Bradford-based Panache Cheer School chosen last month for the 30-strong Elite squad.
Sian’s mum, Vena Reid, said her daughter was in tears when she rang to say she had passed the audition.
She added: “We are unbelievably proud of Sian’s achievements. She has worked extremely hard for this along with her team-mates.”
Sian has been a cheerleader for three years after being recruited by Panache leader Robyn Morrison during a summer workshop.
Sian said: “The girls are all over 19 – there’s just me who’s the little one!
Sian’s first match will be in Cardiff on October 26 when England take on Australia. She will be also compete in Florida next summer with the Panache Elite team in the cheerleading world championships.
