One of the longest beer festivals around is steaming back at the end of the month.

Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s Beer and Music Festival takes place from October 24 to 27, and will feature more than 100 real ales from across the country.

Spread out over five miles and the line’s stations, the festival allows people to enjoy the Victorian railway and their favourite tipple at the same time.

Although based at the Oxenhope Exhibition Shed, there will also be a bar at Keighley and on the trains.

Music is provided by local bands, with a mix of jazz, blues and rock and roll. The Exhibition Shed is open from 4pm to 11pm on Thursday; 11am to 11pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on the Sunday.

A free festival bus will run on Friday and Saturday evenings, with a late bus, from Oxenhope Railway Station to Hebden Bridge Railway Station.
