A teacher and her students are exhibiting together at a new art show in Keighley.
Jan Whittock has taken along work by her class for the display at Central Hall in Alice Street.
She wanted to showcase the talents of her students at the Little House group in Bingley.
Jan, who lives in Oakworth, spent her working life as a teacher, including 16 years at Bradford Girls Grammar School.
She has now retired from school teaching, but continues to pass on her art skills.
She has not exhibited her own artwork for many years, but about 50 diverse pieces by the 12-strong Little House group are on show at Central Hall.
They form part of an ever-changing programme of exhibitions by professional artists and community groups.
The current display also features pictures by Skipton artist, Sue Duffey.
Sue recently exhibited her acrylic and ink canvases of flowers and birds at a coffee house in her hometown.
Sue’s paintings are inspired by flowers grown in her garden and birds seen on outings to wildlife reserves and parks. Her paintings have also been inspired by Yorkshire gardens in the past.
The exhibition, which began last Thursday, runs until November 8.
The hall is open to the public from Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 4pm) and Saturdays (9am to 2pm).
