Keighley mums’ help for children's hospital
2:30pm Thursday 24th October 2013 in News
Two Keighley mums plan to spend a year raising money for the Great Ormond Street children’s hospital in London.
Kelly Rowen and Toni Stoddart are beginning their campaign with a family social event at the Great Northern pub in Ingrow.
Mum’s Little Bit of Sparkle will feature stalls, games, face painting, bingo, glitter tattoos, a raffle and bouncy castle.
Kelly, 31, said: “We chose to help Great Ormond Street because they need £5 million a year for new equipment and to keep the building up to date.”
Tickets for the event cost £3, and will be available from next week at the pub. Raffle prizes should be left behind the bar.
The event will run from 1pm to 9pm on November 30. More details on the Facebook page Mum’s Little Bit of Sparkle.
