Herr Jens’s Band will entertain at the Civic Centre on Friday, November 1 between 8.30pm and midnight in true Bavarian oompah style. Admission is £7 which includes a hot supper and the bar will be open. Haworth West Land Baptist Amateur Operatic Society are rehearsing Gilbert and Sullivan’s Princess Ida to be performed at the Chapel from Monday, November 18 to Saturday, November 23 at 7.15pm, with a matinee performance at 2.15pm on the last day. Admission costs £10 and £5 for children, with an £8 concession for the over 60s on the opening night and the matinee. Tickets available from Vera Waddington on (01535) 643425.
The Worth Valley Young Farmers meet on Tuesday evenings. This week they practised their public speeches for the upcoming events in a few weeks. They also played some fun games in order to improve hesitations during the speeches.
