Specialists are popping up this week in Keighley town centre to help people affected by alcohol problems.
Staff from drug and alcohol advice agency Project 6 are hosting several activities in a ‘pop-up shop’.
They are using the empty shop in Towngate, outside Keighley bus station, as part of Alcohol Awareness Week.
The aim is to highlight the human cost of drinking too much, on the themes of ‘Liver, Lover, Livelihood and Law’.
There are checks and information about the effects of alcohol on health, pregnancy and domestic violence.
Staff can advise individuals wishing to make changes to their alcohol use, as well as support relatives and carers of those with an alcohol problem.
The shop is open today and tomorrow. Call 01535 610180 for further information.
