A renewed appeal has gone out to lovers of Keighley Tarn to join the beauty spot’s Friends group.
Existing members want to recruit people who have an interest in any aspect of the lake in Blackhill.
The group, which formed last month, is campaigning to reduce traffic on the approach to the tarn and provide a new pavement.
Other members are interested in the nature aspects of Keighley Tarn – also known as Redcar Tarn – including its large population of water birds.
Friends spokesman Dorothy Tennant, who visits the Tarn every day, said. “We need people there to share their views and say how they feel about what we’re proposing.”
Everyone is welcome to the next Friends meeting in Keighley Town Hall at 6.30pm on Monday.
