Worth Valley parish councillors will attend an ‘away day’ in the New Year to help thrash out a strategy for the future.
Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council’s chairman, Coun John Huxley, told his colleagues the local authority is faced with a number of major projects, and needed to agree on how it should prioritise its time and resources.
Coun Peter Hill said the event would also be a good opportunity to outline how the parish council’s money could be spent during the next three years.
Coun Huxley added: “We’ll try and arrange a day where we can sit down for three hours without a formal agenda.
“We’ll be able to discuss what we want to do, what we can do and how much money we want to spend.”
