Youngsters were invited to join an official event to celebrate the opening of Oxenhope’s new combined Co-op and post office.
The revamped Station Road premises were re-launched last Thursday following a £290,000 investment.
Oxenhope Primary School pupils cut the opening ribbon (above), and were given goody bags to take home.
Store manager Kiran Bains said: “I adore it – it’s fantastic. It’s great postal services can be provided in Oxenhope again. I encourage people to come down and take a look.”
The premises offers all mail transactions, home shopping returns, online banking cash deposits and withdrawals. Customers can also top up mobile phones, pay bills and order foreign currency, with the same opening hours as the store – 7am to 10pm each day.
