The hunt is on for this year’s Shipley Area Community Heroes, with prizes of £200 on offer for the finalists to donate to charities and causes of their choice.
The awards are designed to honour residents and small groups in areas including Denholme, Culling-worth, Harden, Wilsden and Crossflatts, who have made special contributions to life within the area.
All nominees who meet the criteria will receive a certificate from the Shipley Area Committee and be invited to an awards ceremony in March next year.
Winners of four outstanding achievement awards will receive certificates and also £200 to donate to a local voluntary or charitable organisation of their choice.
Nominations must be received by December 20, and full details can be obtained from shipleyarea
