A branch of a national organisation for cacti enthusiasts will stage its final meeting of the year on Wednesday, December 11.
The Bradford branch of the British Cactus and Succulent Society, which also covers Keighley, says the occasion will include a pre-Christmas buffet supper.
Brian Thornton, the branch’s treasurer and publicity officer, said: “We will be hearing from some of our members about their visits this year to cactus gardens in England and abroad.
“There will also be an informal picture quiz – not involving cacti – and anyone will be welcome to join us.”
The gathering will take place in Shipley Library, starting at 7.15pm.
