Patients who use Airedale Hospital’s orthotic service are being invited to help develop a new range of footwear.
People can have their say at an open day on Wednesday, being staged by the orthotics team and Peacocks Medical Group.
Peacocks business development manager, Paul Scott, said: “We often hear from patients how they are tired of the limited range of footwear available, and our aim is to give them more choice and design a range that meets their needs.
“The beauty of having our own range, instead of ordering and adapting someone else’s product, is we will have more control of the process, which will mean faster delivery time for the benefit of patients.”
The open day is being held in the doctor’s lounge at Airedale Hospital’s education centre, between 10.30am and 3pm. Refreshments and lunch will be available.
