Keighley’s NRGym has become a runner-up in this year’s National Fitness Awards.
The Worth Way gym, which opened in July last year, was narrowly beaten to the top spot in the Best Newcomer category.
Gym founders Rousel Chowdhury, of Utley, and Nick Hindle, of Thornton, attended last Friday’s awards ceremony with their families. Nick admitted being gutted to come second but he said the NRGym party loved the “glitz and glam” of the ceremony.
He said the Best Newcomer category was the most strongly contested, with six of the 85 entrants shortlisted.
