Keighley Area Committee will discuss the transfer of NHS commissioning to family doctors.
Earlier this year GPs were given responsibility for planning and buying many health services for local people.
The new Clinical Commissioning Groups pay for emergency and hospital care, as well as mental health, maternity and community health services.
The CCG for Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven has prepared a briefing on how the new system works and the progress made since the system changed last April.
Chief clinical officer Dr Phil Pue said the CCG’s priorities were to put patients at the centre of everything it did, combine health and social care around a patient’s needs and spend money effectively.
Keighley Area Committee, part of Bradford Council, will be asked for its views on the CCG system.
