Cullingworth schoolchildren have been toying with history.
They played with Victorian toys so they could learn what it was like to live in the past. Youngsters also dressed in Victorian costumes and took part in 19th century lessons.
The special day at Cullingworth Primary School was led by Victorian expert, Kirstie Garside.
Kirstie provided the costumes as well as the toys, including many that she had made herself. These included wooden hoops, skittles and hoopla.
School spokesman, Nikki Hardaker, said the children had been learning about Victorians for the whole term.
She added: “Kirstie has come to the school for the past few years and the children really love it. It takes them back to basics.”
