An Oakworth woman is setting up a singing group in Keighley as part of the Little Voices network.
Rachael Hinchliffe has run Little Voices classes in Halifax, but wanted to add one nearer to home.
She plans to provide singing and drama lessons for four to 18-year-olds on Thursday evenings at Oakbank School.
She said: “We will do alternate weeks of singing and drama, working towards LAMDA exams.
“I decided to use Oakbank because I live in Oakworth and it seemed ideal. I know a lot of people in the area that can’t make it to Halifax.”
Rachael started her own artistic career with keyboard lessons at the age of six, then went on to study performing arts at Burnley College.
She has been a professional singer since 2005, and now performs regularly in clubs across the Greater Manchester area under the name ‘Charlee’.
Little Voices lessons run on Thursdays from 4.45pm to 8pm, with different sessions for various age groups. Rachael can be contacted by e-mailing halifax@littlevoices.org.uk or calling 07878 559500. Visit littlevoices.org.uk for further information.
