Christmas presents for disabled children were lost after a car was stolen in Riddlesden on Sunday.
Charlotte Hird had bought the presents for the children she teaches at Phoenix School in Keighley.
They were being stored in the back of the Volkswagen Golf along with presents for Mrs Hird’s mother, Brenda.
Mrs Hird’s car was stolen at about 2.45am after thieves broke into her house and took the car keys.
She said: “They broke my UPVC door down and broke the lock. They also took my husband Stephen’s phone.
“The police have told me I won’t get the car back. It will be in parts.”
The couple were asleep upstairs with children – Olivia, eight, and Cameron, six – when the burglars struck, but were woken by the noise.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
