Manorlands is seeking volunteers to help form a new support group based around Wilsden.
Hayley Ibbotson, a Sue Ryder regional fundraiser at the hospice, said: “We already receive a great deal of support from the people of Wilsden – which we are very grateful for – now we’d like to form a group which can help us increase awareness of the hospice and what we do, whilst helping to raise vital funds so we can continue our work in the local area.”
She added: “We have a number of established fundraising support groups in places such as Shipley, Bingley and Baildon, and without their help we simply wouldn’t be able to provide the healthcare services we do, both at the hospice and in the local community.”
Manorlands’ fundraising team would help set up the new group and assist in getting it established.
