There was a magical treat in store at Glusburn Primary School for the pupils who had been the most kind, considerate and well mannered during the term before Christmas.

Members of Pendle House were entertained by magic man Truffles the Magician.

He’s pictured (above) wowing pupils Stan Lloyd, Lydia Spencer and Amelia Watson with some of his baffling tricks.

Headteacher Richard Hunt said: “Points for good behaviour, good work and for being kind and considerate are given out to the pupils of each house, and the winners this year have been given a treat – It’s the first time we’ve done it.”

Other houses in the challenge were Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
