A meeting will be held on Tuesday in a bid to revive the Haworth in Bloom group.
Haworth Village Trust and the parish council are leading efforts to restart the group in time for this year’s Yorkshire in Bloom contest.
The original organisation brought gold and silver success to Haworth for several years, but folded due to a lack of volunteers.
Gill Hill, who is organising the meeting, hopes the group of volunteers will be active in time for the Tour de France this summer.
The intention is they will work with gardener, Steve Thorpe, who cares for the parish council’s planters, and Haworth Central Park’s Friends group.
Mrs Hill said the meeting – at 7pm in Haworth Old Hall, Sun Street – is open to everyone in the parish.
