Slimming World consultants staged an event in Keighley on Saturday to raise awareness of healthy eating.
More than 250 goodie bags, containing magazines and recipe books, were distributed together with advice.
There was also a free draw to win a book, entitled Family Feasts On A Budget.
The event – which involved consultants from Keighley, Haworth and Oakworth, Wilsden, Crossflatts, Bingley and Silsden – was held in the Airedale Shopping Centre.
Spokesman Carla Weatherill said: “It was a fabulous opportunity to raise awareness of healthy eating at a time when people are looking at making New Year resolutions to lose weight, eat more healthily and become more active. With money especially tight at this time of year, it was also a great opportunity to demonstrate eating healthily needn’t break the budget.”
