There’s a new touch to boarding buses for young people in Keighley.
Users of Metro young person’s and scholar’s photocards can now simply touch their card onto a ticket-reading machine, rather than having to show it to the driver.
The system operates on Transdev’s Keighley and District, TLC and Hunters Coaches services.
Metro chairman, Councillor James Lewis, said: “Senior, blind and disabled cardholders have been taking advantage of smartcard technology and touching on West Yorkshire’s buses for more than a year now.
“Now young people with their new photocards can start doing so as well.”
