A Cross Hills man is due to be sentenced at crown court today for possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Simon Carver, 47, pleaded guilty at Skipton Magistrates Court on Friday to possessing with intent to supply 280 grams of the Class B drug at Clayton Hall Road, Cross Hills, on November 9.
Carver, of Clayton Hall Road, also admitted possessing heroin, a Class A drug, on the same day.
The court heard that Carver had been arrested on an unconnected matter and a search at the police station revealed a small piece of tin foil with a residue of heroin.
A search of his car uncovered 292 milligrams of heroin and also 280 grams of cannabis. The cannabis was said to have a street value of £2,800.
Carver was sent to Bradford Crown Court to be sentenced.
