Manorlands has received a £400 boost from a Bradford housing scheme.
Residents at Derby Place, in Leeds Road, raised the cash with a fun day.
The event – held to mark the Sue Ryder charity’s 60th anniversary – included bric-a-brac and cake stalls, a raffle, games, pie and peas, and accordion-playing resident Dennis Hibb entertained.
Carly Brunskill, a regional fundraiser based at the Sue Ryder Oxenhope hospice, said: “It was a pleasure to meet with the scheme co-ordinator, Jackie Pullan, and some of the residents when they presented their cheque to me.
“On behalf of everyone at Manorlands, I would like to thank all the staff and residents at Derby Place for their kind support and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”
