Children from Wilsden, Harden and Keelham primary schools filled 193 shoeboxes for youngsters and families in Eastern Europe.

The Rotary Shoe Box Scheme is for “Children Helping Children” and the three primary schools filled the boxes, which were provided by the Rotary Club of Bradford West.

Organised and collected by Rotarian Tony Caunt, the boxes were distributed to countries such as Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Romania and Bulgaria, where children and families will benefit.
