Police are hunting a motorist who failed to stop after a collision with a pedestrian in Keighley last night.

A 49-year-old man was taken to Airedale Hospital with a head injury following the incident, near the Albert Hotel in Bridge Street.

His injury was not believed to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, which happened at about 7.40pm, or who has information about the dark-coloured saloon car involved to contact PC Tim Harding on 101.
