A new credit union branch will open in Bracken Bank on Monday.
The branch of the Bradford Credit Union will run every week at the Sue Belcher Centre in Bracken Bank Avenue.
Local people, especially those on low incomes, will be able to open bank accounts and apply for cut-price loans.
They can visit the centre each Monday between 2pm and 4pm to either put money into their accounts or pay off loans.
The branch is one of a network across the Keighley area, including Braithwaite, Ingrow and Woodhouse.
Staff and volunteers at the Sue Belcher Centre have been trained in collecting money and helping people sign up to the credit union.
Visit bdcu.co.uk for further information about the organisation’s services.
