Volunteers’ cuts talk in Keighley

First published in News

Voluntary groups in Keighley will next month hear about the impact of public spending cuts on youth services.

The subject will be addressed by the first meeting of Keighley and Ilkley Communities Forum.

The speaker will be Kerr Kennedy from both Young Lives, the umbrella body for the district’s youth groups, and voluntary sector group Bradford Assembly.

The Keighley forum will meet regularly so community and voluntary sector organisations can discuss issues.

Run by Keighley and Ilkley Voluntary and Community Action, the forum is open to all groups, whatever their size.

The meeting will be on February 12, from noon to 2pm, at Central Hall in Alice Street, Keighley. Call 01535 665258.
