A Keighley sports coach is leading a one-day canal cycle ride from Leeds to Liverpool for the Lord Mayor’s appeal.
Steve Farleigh, who runs disability sports sessions, is looking for fit and experienced cyclists to ride the 127-mile route.
The Lord Mayor’s Appeal is this year supporting Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure, where Steve works.
He teaches sports across the district for people with learning disabilities, including youth karate and athletics sessions at University Academy Keighley.
Steve said: “The money we raise will provide sporting opportunities for disabled people across the district.”
The ride along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal will be on May 10.
Anyone interested in taking part in the ride should contact Steve at bsr3@btcon nect.com or by calling 07534 924860.
