Fundraising for Manorlands is hitting a high note.
A guitar trio is performing next week to raise cash for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
The Beer House Boys – and guests – are appearing at the Bronte Hotel in Haworth on February 7. They will play a mixture of 40s, 50s and 60s music. The event – starting at 8pm – will also feature comedy, and there will be several sporting personalities, including Trevor Skerrett and Graham Idle.
John Toothill, a member of the Beer House Boys, said: “We’ve been raising money for years, and did an event last year that made more than £600 for Manorlands. This time we are hoping for £700.
“Everyone is welcome to come along. Just turn up on the night. There is no admission charge, but we will have collection buckets.”
