The team behind Silsden’s popular Proms on the Farm has a busy time ahead.
It is continuing to run successful tea dances at Silsden Methodist Church, with the next due to take place at 1.45pm on February 11.
Admission is £2.50, which includes home-made scones and biscuits. The team is also organising an evening of folk, country and western, plus sounds of the 60s, 70s and 80s at Silsden Golf Club on March 7 at 7.30pm.
It will feature live music from In Jeopardy and tickets, costing £6, are available from Twiggs News-agents in Silsden. “This promises to be an excellent evening,” said organiser Rosalie Holroyd.
The team has also finalised the line-up for the annual Proms on the Farm on July 19 at Sycamore Farm in Brunthwaite, Silsden.
Taking part will be The Swinging Sultans, The Big Bang, Skelmanthorpe Band – who will play favourites from Last Night of the Proms – and soloist Sarah Halstead.
Tickets at £10 will be available from May 1 at Twiggs Newsagents in Silsden.
Both concerts will feature an auction and raffle and once again all proceeds will be split between Manorlands and Silsden Methodist Church.
