Glusburn Primary School pupils will devise their own apps while learning how to use the Internet safely.
They will also create imaginary websites and take part in drama as part of Safer Internet Day on Tuesday.
The school is among hundreds of organisations across the UK using the day to promote safe and responsible use of technology.
There will also be a special assembly at Glusburn, and pupils will be able to design posters.
Safer Internet Day this year follows the theme ‘Let’s create a better Internet together’, focusing on creative things children and young people do online or with mobile phones.
