Zombies will rise from the grave this Saturday to help raise cash to send a Keighley cheerleader to America.
Proceeds of the town centre ‘zombie game’ will pay for the air fare for 15-year-old Sian Reid.
Holy Family School student Sian is a member of the Panache cheer school, which is competing in the cheerleading world championships in April.
Sian’s mum, Vena, is organising the zombie game, in which people dress up and try to ‘kill’ others to collect lives.
She said: “It is the participant’s choice as to which role they want to be, person, zombie or army.”
Tickets cost £5 from Sequins Fancy Dress shop in High Street, Keighley, or Danas Health and Beauty Salon in Broster Avenue, Braithwaite.
Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, and must register at the Albert Hotel in Bridge Street from 11am.
