Silsden Town Council has completed an ambitious survey after 12 months of work.
Responses from more than 1,100 households will help councillors plan future development in Silsden.
Mayor Councillor Chris Atkinson congratulated Michael Elsmore and his team for their research work.
He said: “The survey will give the town council a clear idea of what the priorities are for the people of Silsden.
“The subjects are as diverse as housing, crime, anti-social behaviour, clean streets, education, traffic, parking and community facilities.”
The town council has already used the survey’s findings in putting its case for pedestrian crossing improvements at the Keighley Road/Elliott Street junction.
The information on housing will help guide a joint Neighbourhood Planning report being prepared with Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council.
