It was welcome indeed to hear the words of praise for district industry from Chancellor George Osborne when he visited the area last week.
His comments about the green shoots of recovery helped reinforce what many of us already know about the fantastic work firms across Keighley district are doing, and the investment confidence starting to be shown in our town and surrounding areas.
Mr Osborne had clearly done his homework... that was until he left Silsden and headed to Haworth, where he was marked down for his spelling!
While tweeting about the delights of the Bronte village, he fell into that age-old ‘Howarth’ trap.
And, yes, any newspaper delighting in errors on the spelling front is heading for an inevitable fall! Sorry, polite plaudits but no prizes on offer for mistake spotters
