My wife and I have been confused with the recycling bins in Haworth – ‘Missing bin ‘confusion’’ (Keighley News, January 30).
We were on holiday at home the week the recycling bin was delivered, so did not put our recycling out early, as we normally do.
Our collection day was December 12. When I went to put our recycling out, I found a wheeled bin with the dates for collection. The day had changed, without anyone telling us.
Because of Christmas and the change of day, our next collection was on January 22.
We had gone six weeks without a recycling collection.
I cannot understand why, at the beginning of Oak Street where I live, there are nine properties but only three bins. This means one bin between three properties.
I have not contacted Bradford Council, as I will only get some excuse.
