Keighley ambulance workers are poised to walk out again in a dispute about planned new shift patterns.
Further strikes are being staged by Unite, which has four members at the Hard Ings Road ambulance station.
The latest action is scheduled for 3pm to 8pm tomorrow and the same period on Monday, and follows two strikes earlier this month.
The union said emergency crews were recently given just four days by Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust bosses to accept revised rotas, including runs of eight shifts in succession, and faced reduced meal breaks.
David Whiting, chief executive of the ambulance trust, has condemned the strike action as “reckless” and neglectful of patient care, and says union claims are “misleading and factually incorrect”.
Unite this week called for an independent inquiry by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) into the dispute.
“We would welcome an inquiry to determine whether it is Unite or the trust’s executives who are misleading the public,” said regional officer, Terry Cunliffe.
