A Keighley group that makes free cakes for needy children is promoting its work around child welfare organisations.
Free Kids For Cakes provides birthday cakes for families who find it difficult to make or buy cakes themselves.
Rachel Eydmann, who set up the group, said posters were being distributed to organisations that provided services to youngsters, such as the Salvation Army and children’s centres.
She added: “We would like referrals to come through organisations, if possible, to avoid people taking advantage of the service.”
Members recently baked Christ-mas buns for children at Strong Close Children’s Centre in Keighley. E-mail freecakeskeighley@gmail.com for further information.
